Who we are

This website is run by Nazareth Holy Cross, which shares the holy places, prayers and crafts of Nazareth with pilgrims everywhere. For any privacy question, write to nazarethholycross@gmail.com.

What we collect

We collect only what you give us when you use a service:

• Orders: your name, e-mail address, phone number, delivery address, the items you bought, the total and the date.
• Candle requests: your name, e-mail address and your prayer.
• The prayer wall: the name, country, category and prayer you write. These are shown publicly.
• Reviews: your name, the place you are from and your message, shown on the site once approved.
• Contact messages: your name, e-mail address, phone number and message.
• Payments: handled by PayPal. We do not receive or store your card number.

Why we use it

• To fulfil and deliver your orders, and to light your candle and send you the video.
• To reply to your messages.
• To show prayers and approved reviews on the site, as you intended.

Who else sees it

We do not sell your data. A few services help us run the site and process data on our behalf:

• PayPal processes payments under its own privacy policy.
• Our website, servers, database and image storage are run by hosting providers, which may store data outside your country.
• When you open a map or directions, or watch a video from another site, that site's own privacy policy applies.

What stays in your browser

The site has no accounts and does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Your browser stores:

• Your shopping cart and wishlist.
• The prayers you said Amen to, so that you can say it once.
• Your language choice.

How long we keep it

We keep orders and candle requests for as long as we need them to serve you and to meet our legal and accounting duties. Prayers and reviews stay on the site until you ask us to remove them.

Your choices

You can ask us to show, correct or delete the data we hold about you, or to remove your prayer or review. Write to nazarethholycross@gmail.com and we will respond. Depending on where you live, the law may give you further rights.

Children

The site is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you think a child has sent us data, write to us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
